New build apartment building

Richmond Road, Worthing

Our developer client picked up this site with a poor planning history and a fire damaged former Public House. The site is a prominent Town Centre location, between the Council Offices and Library, so reads as a standalone building.

We worked closely with the planners to develop a scheme through a pre-app process and after a number of design iterations and a planning committee refusal, we gained planning consent through appeal for a new build scheme for 8 flats that maximises the development potential of what is a thoroughly challenging and constraints led site. The design includes buff brick with deep reveals and a set-back top storey with standing seam cladding.

We are now commencing the working drawings package and hope to be on site with the build out phase during Autumn of 2021.
